Our client is a research based EU pharmaceutical company with a fantastic reputation both from a product perspective and as a place to work. With a range of well established and innovative pipeline products they have a balanced portfolio and enjoy consistent growth.
They are currently recruiting for a medical / regulatory writer to join a well established writing and publications team based in the UK. Reporting to the head of the function the role holder’s responsibilities would include (but are not limited to)
Production of clinical study protocols, regulatory submissions, Investigator brochures and publications.
Managing external, third party service providers.
Effective liaison with internal departments to develop high quality documentation on their behalf.
To contribute to the development of effective departmental processes.
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications, experience and competencies;
At least a life science degree
A strong background in scientific / medical writing
Good external service provider management skills
A good understanding of medical terminology including physiology and pharmacology
Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory requirements from a submissions perspective (EU, US and RoW)
Knowledge of the clinical trial prespective from a medical writing perspective.
An ability to draw up and implement relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs)
