Their product is live in market and it’s gaining market share. But this is also where it needs your help.

As their new Marketing Manager, your remit will be to help build traction and brand credibility by utilising a broad range of marketing disciplines. These will include:

  • Content generation and syndication – looking at principally digital and social channels, and will include thought leadership pieces, blogs and white papers
  • The creation, execution and in-flight management of campaigns TTL – to drive lead generation and customer acquisition metrics – these will be targeting specific consumer segments and will blend both on and offline channels
  • Later in the year they will be introducing digital performance (currently outsourced), so the remit will evolve to supporting PPC and SEO activity – currently this will be more aligned to briefing and managing the external agency
  • Website management – look, feel, user journey, utilising Google Analytics, looking over customer journeys, identifying pinch points or bounce issues
  • Utilising tools like Buffer for content scheduling and Hubspot

Being a start-up, there’s lots to do and plenty of excitement and belief in the company’s mission. They’re really seeking like-minded people who want to make a splash and have a real impact – not just in terms of to a business, but also their career as there’s a real sense of ownership with this role and belonging – especially as this firm is so early on its journey. So whatever you do, you’re going to see the impact – to the firm, the customer and an area of digital innovation that’s just taking off. This certainly isn’t a role for a clock puncher just looking to fill the daylight hours to get a pay cheque.

The firm is looking for someone really ambitious and hungry to show off their marketing credentials. Someone who’s driven by results – loves autonomy and the ability to experiment and learn. Is looking to make their own path, rather than follow in the footsteps of the many before.

Who is as creative as they are analytical and numerate, and prepared to put their heart and soul into something they believe in and really wants to make their impact on the world!
