This is an exciting opportunity to be a crucial member of a new UK based insights department within a global pharmaceutical leader.

This company has very strong existing brands and an exciting portfolio of products within the respiratory, oncology, and immunology therapeutic areas. They are well known for their support of talented individuals and has great potential for contract extension.

The opportunity

Working incredibly closely primarily with sales and marketing colleagues, you will be shaping the brands by listening to colleagues, gaining insights both from them and the market and use this information and data you gather to maximise the businesses opportunities for growth.

You will support the business planning cycle, providing accurate and timely insights to inform the actions of decision makers. In addition, you will influence business strategy and ongoing performance to maximise brand performance.

Working closely with the Head of Sales and Key Account Management colleagues you will help ensure they have the right tools and processes for monitoring, evaluating and refining plans in order to ensure the optimal allocation of resources, prioritisation of activities and driving increased sales.

Working with marketing you will provide input into the creation of brand materials.

In addition, you will be working very closely with Business Intelligence and Analytics colleagues and Market Access colleagues.

We would like to speak with individuals with experience from Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Business Insight, Market Intelligence, Market Insight or Franchise Insight Management.

You will need to be familiar with drawing insights from data sources, such as; IQVIA, IMS, IPSOS, Kantar and Homecare Data.

Your profile

We are open-minded when considering suitable candidates however, you will need a mix of experience that should include the following (detailed below).

We’re looking for:

  • Analytical / Insight experience
  • Pharmaceutical/healthcare sales
  • Pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing
  • Demonstrable business acumen, possibly from a responsible (leadership) position within one of the above functions
  • Ideally project management experience

You are likely to be highly organised and structured in your approach, have strong commercial acumen with a performance mind-set, be able to build rapport with ease and manage relationships successfully (supported by having genuine credibility).
