One of the UK’s top retailers is seeking a Customer Insight Analyst to join the Customer Insight function in this statistical analysis role.

You will be part of a high performing, centralised insights function, working together to help improve customer understanding for this multinational retail giant.

This role will focus on providing analysis and insights around customers, working amongst a broader team of people including Researchers and Category Analysts and The Head of Department has a very credible background in analytics, having worked for this company for a number of years, covering a variety of analytical areas. So the opportunity to diversify and stretch your analytical skills is great.

In summary, the role works to utilise statistical analytical techniques to answer broad business questions which range from working out whether changing Sales timings will affect profitability? What would that revenue turnover look like if they did make a change? Who would this impact? What does customer activity across online channels look like versus offline?

Technically they employ R, Python and SAS Base internally, but are moving away from the latter; so strong coding skills in SQL plus one of the programming technologies mentioned is key.

We need someone with a strong background in insights analysis, who is interested in working in a business facing role, working consultatively to provide actionable insights around customer buying behaviour and marketing activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for junior or mid weight Insight Analyst to join a team which offers lots of training and development.

POSITION: Customer Insight Analyst

LOCATION: West London

SALARY: £25k – £42k plus excellent benefits, 10% bonus & training opportunities

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Educated to at least degree level in a numerate subject
  • Proven experience in customer or business insights role from either agency or client side (must be a data heavy environment)
  • Proven experience delivering recommendations on how to improve business or marketing performance through insight analysis
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in order to present insights in an engaging manner to a variety of stakeholders
