Business Development & In-Licensing Analyst

Overview

In this newly created Global Business Development & Licensing Analyst position, you will help bring new products to market through the search, evaluation and delivery of new assets via New Product Development, acquisitions and in-licensing opportunities.

As BD & In-Licensing Analyst, you will analyse a range of data sets and sources to identfy potential products to acquire or in-license as well as analysing the market for potential gaps in the market. You will be responsible for making fact based recommendations to the commercial leadership team, based on your analysis.

This will require you to work closely and collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, underpinning your recommendations with robust analysis of internal and external data.

What’s needed for this role

Degree level education (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field

Previous experience of Market Research, Landscape Analysis, Competitive & Market Intelligence

Product Development / NPD / In-Licensing experience

Analytical skills coupled with the ability to make data driven and timely recommendations

Excellent planning and organisational skills combined with excellent communication skills

What might help secure an interview

Existing experience within a business development and licensing function

Oncology or rare disease experience

Product life cycle – from assessing new assets to helping drive sales across new territories
