Senior Predictive Modelling Analyst
Do you have experience in building predictive models?
Is that experience established in a company with a sizable database of customers?
Are the models you’ve built complex in nature with a vast number of variables?
Are you skilled in SAS? Preferably with experience in either Enterprise Guide or Enterprise Miner? Or at least SPSS, Clementine?
Are you looking for a move to one of the UK’s biggest brand employers and No1 in their market?
This could be a great role for you!
We are recruiting for a Senior Predictive Modeller to join a small, but well established team of predictive analysts who are part of a very large customer analysis function which service one of the UK’s biggest employer brands.
Put simply, the main purposes of your role is two fold:
- Create a suite of predictive and descriptive models, including linear regression, customer segmentations, data mining, trigger identifications, etc. to support and drive more intelligent decisions in marketing
- To act as a consultant to the wider business, explaining the value of these models and how they help drive intelligence for the business, championing the work of the modelling function to often non-technical audiences and the marketing function
As simple as this sounds, the complexity of the work is high. It’s a huge company with an equally huge and complex customer base. So the modelling work you will deliver will need to meet all the various demands the business has.
Equally, it’s no use being a shrinking violet. You will be one of the key voices of the function, dealing with often very senior level stakeholders, delivering presentations on various insights the models have given you into the customer, and what direction the company’s marketing, products or propositions need to take to ensure the company delivers optimum success.
Naturally you need to be highly numerical and statistical to be successful in this position. But you must also be comfortable with getting away from the computer and dealing with the wider business too.
This role will hugely rewarding for the right person and will also give you huge business exposure too. So don’t delay, apply today!
