Our global pharmaceutical / healthcare industry client has created a new position to help transform the way they interact with customers.

We need a Digital Asset Manager to be responsible for supporting the development, launch and maintenance of digital assets that support the company and their product portfolio. This will require previous direct digital marketing experience; website management, social media, digital display advertising, search engine marketing (SEO and PPC), email and mobile for example.

A key competent of this role is the management of one of their core websites that support the UK and IRE business across multiple product types. The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for planning and executing effective multi-channel promotional campaigns which realise the strategy for the site, within agreed promotional expenditure.

More about the career opportunity:

  • To take ownership of the dedicated customer and industry website and implement the tactics designed to support the strategy of the site to ensure that it realises its full potential as the industry-leading value-added service.
  • To develop and implement effective integrated promotional campaigns to drive site traffic, increase time spent on site and user engagement and ultimately increase repeat users.
  • Define and set KPIs to monitor and evaluate site performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry including tracking and evaluating competitor digital activities. Instigates relevant activities as necessary.
  • Take responsibility to ensure the business is kept abreast of new technologies and opportunities.
  • Feed marketing insights back to the relevant stakeholders to inform the strategic development of the website and service offering
  • Work with sales teams to identify opportunities to leverage the value of the site and its content to support commercial negotiations.
  • Ensures compliance of activities and materials within relevant Code of Practices, legal requirements and other guidelines.

The background we’d like you to have:

  • Marketing qualification (degree/CIM for example)
  • Previous direct digital marketing experience; website management, social media, digital display advertising, search engine marketing (SEO and PPC), email and mobile
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable experience in on and off-line campaign planning and execution with budget management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • A desire to be part of a forward thinking and supportive global healthcare company
