ROLE SUMMARY

The job holder will be part of the International Predictive Analytics Team that is responsible for the development of all standard and bespoke commercial credit scores. The team build advanced model solutions for their clients around the globe for credit, sales and marketing purposes. These consist predictive models such as commercial credit risk scorecards & propensity models. However, they’re going a step further… They want to use machine learning techniques & advanced algorithms to automate these solutions. Sounds simple? It’s certainly not. That’s why we want to hire the best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop predictive analytics solutions / models in both risk and marketing areas under supervision from a Senior Consultant
  • Work on analytics projects maintaining timelines, documenting progress, and presenting results to internal/external customers
  • Analyse and interpret large amounts of global commercial data, and articulate business insight in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with internal/external customers to ensure proper utilization of analytical solutions. Engage in brainstorming sessions with other team members to discuss cutting edge techniques used in academia that may be used to enhance our analytics capabilities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in a quantitative / applied field with good academic credentials. Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operational Research, Engineering or Economics preferred
  • This will suit someone with circa 2+ years of experience in predictive modelling, developing analytical solutions
  • Hands-on experience using SAS (Base, Stat, Enterprise Miner), SQL and other statistical packages.
  • Good experience with Python.
  • Knowledge of or an interest in machine learning, algorithm development, Proven track record of independent thinking, and ingenious approaches to problem solving.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, to brainstorm and exchange new ideas
