Blue Pelican Standards

From the outset the Directors knew that they wanted to offer an unparalleled level of service to Blue Pelican’s candidates and clients, but the challenge was how to ensure that, as we grew, all our Consultants delivered to the same level.

We implemented the ‘Blue Pelican Standards’, a set of guidelines that we expect all our Consultants to adhere to at all times. They are on the company Intranet and on the walls, and regularly reviewed to ensure everyone is aware of how things must be done here.

They are not Earth-shatteringly innovative or unexpected, they just ensure that we treat people the way we would like to be treated, with respect and courtesy:

• Reply to every enquiry you receive, even if you are unable to help
• Provide complete transparency with requirement details and Terms of Business
• Gain written confirmation of representation from EVERY candidate for EVERY application
• Provide feedback to all parties at every stage of the recruitment process
• Act honestly and professionally in all dealings
